Currently, V.B. Kondratiev provides general management of the leading research institute in the Russian Federation in the position of General Director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “State Research Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology” (FSUE “GosNIIOKhT”).

FSUE “GosNIIOKhT” is a systemically important scientific research organization addressing strategic challenges put forward by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Management of implementation of state programs of the Russian Federation:

  • Leadership of the organization responsible for implementation of federal target program “National System of Chemical and Biological Safety of the Russian Federation (years of 2015-2020)”;
  • The above program activities are carried out as a part of the implementation of critical technologies of the Russian Federation as envisaged in “Technologies for Monitoring and Forecasting the State of the Environment, Prevention and Elimination of Environmental Pollution”, “Technologies for Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations”;
  • V.B. Kondatiev had supervised program research in the field of highly efficient and safe technologies for destruction of chemical weapons stockpiles, provided practical implementation of the above technologies at the chemical weapon destruction facilities of natural and technogenic origin;
  • Under the guidance of V.B. Kondratyev, FSUE “GosNIIOKhT” is ensuring implementation of unique R&D projects in the framework of the state program “Development of Industry and Improving its Competitiveness” of the Russian Federation.

Chairman of three dissertation councils. Co-chairman of the Editorial Board of the peer-reviewed scientific journal ‘Chemistry and Technology of Organic Substances’.

Author and co-author of more than 260 research publications, 12 patents, etc.
