Abstract – An analytical review is provided covering the main results of the IV International Conference “Actual Scientific and Technical Issues of Chemical Safety” (ASTICS-2018), held in Moscow on October 17-18, 2018. More than 150 participants from 8 countries (Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) took part in the conference. The main scientific topics of the conference program are considered, including the plenary reports and reports that aroused the greatest interest. It is concluded that regular conferences on chemical safety issues enhance consolidation efforts and scientific cooperation of scientists and specialists of various fields in addressing a wide range of problems ensuring chemical safety, which makes a great contribution to strengthening sustainable development in Russia and around the world.
